As Emily Dickinson once said, “A little madness in the Spring is wholesome, even for a Queen.”

Imagine a place where regionally renowned painters, sculptors, and glass blowers come together to share their latest creations. Soak up the sweet sounds of music, the clatter of shopping bags and excitement of busy shoppers and a Friday night of recognition for the participants/artisans of Springtime in Canandaigua!

Thompson Guild proudly presents a new opportunity to celebrate Spring. Come join us for a unique art and craft experience held April 27-29, 2012. The Canandaigua Civic Center will open its doors for a juried art and fine craft show... highlighting Garden Accessories, Metal Work, Mixed Media, Drawing/Graphics, Fiber/Wearable Art, Glass, Sculpture, Specialty Food, Decorative Wood, Country Crafts, Floral, Jewelry, Candles, Pottery, Gourmet Foods, and Home Decor.

Springtime in Canandaigua will become a tradition in our community for the artisans it attracts and our customers who are waiting to attend each show and purchase the finest in handmade art.

Success... our management team for Springtime in Canandaigua has over thirty years of combined experience in producing high quality and extremely successful art and fine crafts events in Canandaigua and has been recognized by Sunshine Artist Magazine.

Why... In the past two years alone, proceeds from Thompson Guild events have supported the purchase of numerous items on Thompson Health’s “Wish List” including: a long-awaited handicapped-accessible air conditioned bus for the Continuing Care Center residents, a Vein Viewer® Vision Imaging System to make IVs and blood draws quicker and less painful for infants and an underwater Aquatic Treadmill for the hospital’s new hydrotherapy center, to name just a few. The Guild has also contributed well over $500,000 to help fund a Memorial Garden, renovate the Urgent Care Center and to expand and renovate Thompson Hospital. The Thompson Guild has a long history of coordinating quality events to benefit Thompson Health - and we hope that you will take pride in knowing that your participation in Springtime in Canandaigua will continue to make this type of philanthropic support possible .

Please join us for Springtime in Canandaigua. A time for sunshine... flowers... and YOU!
Most sincerely,
Marianne Gallagher
